Please let the practice know if you cannot keep an appointment.
Any patient who requires medical advice and feels unable to wait for the first available bookable appointment, should telephone the practice between 8am and 10am.
You will be asked a series of questions to ascertain the reason(s) you require to be seen. Please give as much information as you can, so the doctor can prioritise his/her calls appropriately.
Consultation with a doctor or nurse is by appointment only.
A doctor is available in the surgery during our opening times. Each doctor undertakes surgery sessions and clinics at various times during these hours. Please check with reception for further information.
You are encouraged to see the same doctor throughout an episode of illness. Each doctor has a small number of appointments which can only be booked on the day to ensure that there are always some available appointments for patients requiring same day access.
If you are arranging a Doctor appointment and have multiple ailments you wish to discuss, please arrange a double appointment, to ensure you have adequate time with the Doctor to discuss these.
Children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult.
This service reminds you of an appointment via a text message. All registered patients are automatically opted into the service.
Please ensure if you wish to use this service we have your correct mobile telephone number and inform us as soon as possible if your number changes.
If you do not wish to subscribe please contact the surgery and inform reception that you wish to opt out.
If you anticipate that you may require an examination by the Doctor and feel that you would like a chaperone to be present, please make reception aware at the time of booking your appointment so that this can be arranged. Alternatively bring along a member of your family or friend to your appointment.
If you are unable to attend for your appointment please tell us in good time so that we are able to offer another patient the use of that appointment.
